Sky Diving

So not craft related! Today I went sky diving with a coworker and my boyfriend.  Those two want their licenses, so they will be doing a lot jumps. I'm not going to lie when they went for their first jump I told them they are nutts. So when They asked me I thought about it  and then said yes. LOl I told my mom and well you all know how moms are. She tired to use my dad against me, but was unsuccessful. It's hard for and ex paratrooper to say you can't  jump out of planes. Let me tell you that I was not scared nor nervous at any point. I guess it's in my blood. So where did I go?  Same place Rachel Ray( my bf got the same guy as her. They decided to do flips!) went  These people are the best in the area. If you are ever in Upstate Ny you have to do it!

Here is my proof!

Hello There

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week. I know I am.

Today I will like to take you into my wacky head. I know that I wonder how people come up with their card designs. So, today I will share how my ideas come to me.  There are a lot different ways my designs come to me.  One way is that I think of who the card is for. I try to put their favorite things on them. I will even ask them what they want on their card. For example I asked my little cousin what she wanted on her Christmas card. She responded with a horse. From that  little information I was able to pull something together. Another way I get designs are from challenges.  This is a great way to push your self.  The last way is sometimes an image just pops into my head. If I'm free at that time I will start the card. If I'm not I will draw it out in this little notebook I have. So this leads me to my card for today. This card just happen to pop into my head.

Card Details:
Size: A2
Layers: Outside 3.5 x 4.5, 3x4 inches,  Inside 3.75x5, 3.25x 4.5inches

Ink: Stampin' Up, and Memento.
Paper: Paper Trey Ink.

Flip Flop Thank You

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did. On Sunday  I received a gift from my friend. She decided to travel across the country to see her husband. On her way she stopped at Hilton Head.  While she was there she picked me up this shot glass.

Now why flip flops? Well I helped decorated her office with flip flops. I used the Cricut to cut out flip flops of all different sizes. So this naturally leads me to her thank you card. Of course I had to put flip flops on it.  This is what I came up with.

Size: A2
Layer: 4x 5 1/4

Stamps: Market Street Stamps " Chillaxin."
Ink: Memento " Tuxedo Black," Inkadinkado " Sky Blue."
Paper:  Paper Trey Ink, and Stampin up.
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities " Standard Circle Large," Paper Trey Ink "Rickrack Border."
Other: Diamond Glaze, pop dots, Cuttlebug folder "Swiss Dots,"and  Prisma Color Pencils.
