Imagine Nation Monday Challenge

So I decided to do Emma's Imagine Nation Monday Challenge. Now I don't have an imagine, but I need to start challenging myself with pattern paper. I'm kinda scared of mixing patterns and solids. I'm not so great at it. Anyways, for this challenge you are to make  that has the theme of  sweet/Valentine. I decided to do a treat box filled with hershey kisses. I finally used the tear bear I made like a month ago. Isn't he cute?
Ok here is what I used:
- Circut cart Tags boxes and more, and Doodle charm.
- Tear bear is made from a pattern from  http://www.thebearyscrap.com/.
- Twine from the Twinery.
- Paper is Anna griffin.
- Stamp is from My Creative Time "You had me at chocolate." I got my stamps today. I love them!

LFIF Challenge- Thank you cards

THE CHALLENGE
Create a thank-you card!
We're all winding down from the holidays, so let's make this challenge quick & simple and above all - USEFUL! Using a Peachy Keen Face stamp, create a thank you card for any occasion. I'm thinking a lot of us have a lot of holiday thank you's to create!

This thank you card is for my coworker Charlie.  He got  new chargers for his phone and was nice enough to give me his old set. I  told him I didn't want them but he demanded I have a charger for my car and one for work. He doesn't want me getting stuck somewhere and my battery be dead. This is what I came up with
Lets see if I can remember what I used ( I know which PKS sets I used):
-PK-547- Cutie Pie Face Assortment.
.-PK-09 Cheesy Packer Fans.  ( boy did I get lucky on those numbers fitting).
- Cricut Carts: George (battery, made that myself), Paisley, and walk in my garden. Shoot I forgot I used  From my kitchen for the plug.
-Paper: well this is a mixture of companies. Martha Stewart, Basic Grey, and Stampin' up
- Cuttlebug folder seeing spots.
-Pop Dots.
-Glossy Accents.
- Diamond glaze.

Jinger Adam's card Contest

Let me tell you that when I have a card idea in my head I do everything to make it come out. When I was making this card I ran into problem after problem, which all resulted from the window. I should really think things all the way through. Anyways this is a 5x5 easel card.I used Winter Lace, Don juan and Anna Griffin paper. I had to use my gypsy to make this card. I'm so happy I have one, because without it  I don't think I could have pulled this card off. LoL don't ask where I got the clear plastic. It was found on a train from the city. It's nice and thick too. Wish my mom found more!

Name Day Card

I first want to say Happy Birthday to my dad!!!! He is 61. He keeps saying it's the 9th and tomorrow is the 11th. It's also the 8 anniversary of me getting my license . Yes I purposely  scheduled it on my dad's birthday. I told everyone if I failed it was his fault. Lucky I passed.

Ok anyways onto my card. This card is 5x7 and was requested by my mom for my Babci. The word you see is in Polish. It means Name day. It's kinda like another birthday. The cut is from elegant cakes cart.

Primsa Tips

 Happy New Year!!!!

Now onto the tips. These tips are in no particular order.

1. Test your colors with each other. See if the look good next to each other. I normally scribble them side by side and have the run into each other. Also  run the colorless blender over the color.  Sometimes when you add the colorless blender the color changes to something you didn't want.
2. Take your time.

3. DO NOT brush away any shavings that come off your pencil with your hand. Just blow them away.

4. Clean off the tip of the colorless pencil. I forget to do this a lot. You can find it in my snowman.

5. Keep a pretty sharp tip. Not super pointy.

6. Always start off light. You can always add color.

7. Now if you started off light you can erase. If you didn't well my only tip is to erase harder.  The color won't totally go away.

8.  Try to have good lighting. It helps you see the colors better.

9. Work on a flat surface. Make sure there is nothing under that paper. If you color to hard  it will show.

10. Print out a Prismacolor Pencil chart. Color in all the pencils you have and put it up on a wall as a visual aid. This will help you when you pick out colors to go with each other.  Chart

11. Have Fun and Experiment =)
