Welcome Home Banner

My co-worker Husband returns from Afghanistan in a few weeks. He will be at our work for a couple of hours. She wants to surprise her kids. They think their dad will be home at Christmas. I asked her if she wants  me to make a banner and she said go ahead. Here is what I came up with. I used the following Cricut carts: Base Camp and Stand and Salute. I hope they like it. Oh you can't see but my spacers are the Marine symbol.

Peachy Keen Mini Challenge

MINI-Challenge here's what you gotta do:
  • Create a project using your Peachy Keen Stamp Faces
  • Your project should include polka dots AND
  • Your project should include "White" as a main focal color

This is an A2 Size card. The red polka piece of paper is 4x4 and the white is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.  I embossed both pieces of paper. One with Swiss dots and the other is from the x-mas collection from Basic grey. The papers are from the following Stampin Up, and Coredinations. On the inside the snowman is from the Cricut Cart Doodlecharm. He is cut at 2.5 inches. The face is from PK-520- Winter Face Assortment. The snow is hand cut.

Exciting news!!

This is so exciting!!!!! I just got a rough cut of the dvd my project will be in. It looks so great!

Christmas card for someone at work

I used all Peachy Keen stamps. I used  Strathmore " Smooth Bristol" for my card stock. I've been experimenting with papers for my prisma colored pencils, so far I like this paper the best. The snowman was colored on this paper also.I know you can't tell in the photo, but the word snow  and the snow flakes has stickles on them.

Throw Back Thursday Challenge. Christmas theme

For this challenge I decided to make a gift tag for my cat. I know I'm one of those weirdos that buys Christmas gifts for their animals.  The carts I used were Celebrations, Everyday paperdoll, and I believe happy holiday is from Ashyln's Alphabet.
